Evening prayer at the church I used to visit more than a decade ago. I converted to Christianity at the age of 16 and was baptised at 18, because I fell in love with Brother Roger and the idea of Taizé. Even though life has made its turns since then, and I don’t consider myself a “real” Catholic anymore, those years remained a determining period of my past and played an important role in my becoming the person I am today. And my love for Taizé and for everything it means and symbolises, has never changed.
P.S.: I wanted to take a candlelight picture to show you how these prayers are beautiful but it was way too big a challenge for my poor camera. Even with the lights on it managed to make only blurry photos.
