between the blossoms red and white

That’s my bike, Rozi, posing under a blossoming magnolia tree. She is sort of a posing kind (and I’m getting all girly with all these pink and white).

I had free today so I took my bike, Rozi and rode down along the Salzach. I planned to visit the castle of Anif, but I got lost on the completely straight way with one turn (I never found that turn). So I did lots of fashionable mountain biking through the woods, much for the disapproval of poor Rozi, who has zero skills for such adventures (to be honest, her only skill is that she haven’t dropped into pieces yet, but I love her the way she is) (I’m blessed with the seldom gift of being able to love unconditionally).

Meet my new bike, Rozi, posing picturesquely against the Salzburger Altstadt. Normally I’m not for giving names to my possessions; I belong to that disappointingly practical sort of people who think that bikes are bikes and nothing more, but once I knew a bike called Rozi that looked very similar to the one I bought today. So, for the first time in my personal history, my bike also has a name (and a personality, I guess).
